Province Cell
The Province Cell is a dedicated unit of Pokhara Research Centre working to advance a more decentralized, inclusive, and responsive system of governance in Nepal. The Cell champions provincial autonomy in decision-making by strengthening policy, legislative, and institutional capacity of Nepal’s Provincial Assemblies. Through rigorous research projects, impactful policy analysis, format-based dialogue series, and stakeholder engagement, the Cell delivers high-quality programs, capacity-building initiatives, and accessible knowledge products. Its work empowers provincial institutions, channels civil society actors, and engages citizens to shape policies that reflect their unique contexts and aspirations. The Cell is committed to fostering a public policy ecosystem where decision-making is closer to the people, governance is transparent and participatory, and sustainable development is driven by locally informed solutions.
प्रदेश सेल
पोखरा रिसर्च सेन्टरको प्रदेश सेल (Province Cell) नेपालमा थप विकेन्द्रीकृत, समावेशी तथा उत्तरदायी शासन प्रणालीको प्रवर्द्धनका लागि समर्पित इकाइ हो। यस सेलले नीति निर्माण, विधायन तथा संस्थागत क्षमताको सुदृढीकरणमार्फत नेपालको प्रादेशिक सभाहरूको निर्णय–निर्माण प्रक्रियामा प्रादेशिक स्वायत्तताको पक्षपोषण गर्दछ। त्यसैगरी गहन अनुसन्धानका परियोजनाहरू, प्रभावकारी नीति विश्लेषण, संरचनागत संवाद श्रृंखला तथा सरोकारवालाको संलग्नतामार्फत यस सेलले उच्च गुणस्तरीय कार्यक्रम, क्षमता अभिवृद्धिमा पहल तथा सहज रूपमा पहुँचयोग्य ज्ञान सामग्रीहरू प्रदान गर्दछ। यस कार्यले प्रादेशिक संस्थाहरूलाई सशक्त बनाउने, नागरिक समाजका पक्षधरहरूलाई जोड्ने तथा नागरिकहरूलाई उनीहरूको विशेष परिस्थिति र आकांक्षालाई प्रतिबिम्बित गर्ने नीति निर्माणमा सक्रिय रूपमा संलग्न गराउँदछ। प्रदेश सेल निर्णय–निर्माण प्रक्रिया जनतासँग नजिक हुने, शासन पारदर्शी र सहभागितामूलक हुने तथा स्थानीय रूपमा सूचित समाधानमार्फत दिगो विकासलाइ अघि बढाउने विषयमा सार्वजनिक नीति प्रणालीको निर्माणप्रति प्रतिबद्ध छ।
